Bradley Shende Full Bio
Bradley Shende is a creative technologist, entrepreneur, storyteller, and community builder whose career has spanned technology, media, education, and social innovation. For more than 25 years, he has helped organizations, communities, and audiences navigate change by translating complex ideas into practical action, blending emerging technologies with human-centered design, strategic communication, and systems thinking.
From pioneering early online video, mobile content, and live streaming platforms to launching accelerators, environmental initiatives, and social enterprises, Bradley has built ventures that sit at the intersection of innovation and impact. Whether producing award-winning media, advising leaders, teaching the next generation, or helping communities create new economic opportunities, his work is driven by a belief that lasting progress happens when technology, culture, community, and purpose move together.
Always a problem solver, even in his early days in the Music Club Management scene he brought early pioneering electronic music acts to Vancouver and founded the Barwatch organization to serve as a gold standard for safe and secure club nightlife operations across the Country.
Throughout Bradley’s years of experience producing digital content, this tech pundit turned-entrepreneur frequently used his creative expertise to solve problems for Fortune 500 Companies.
And the world’s taken notice. Bradley’s career has made him the proud recipient of five Telly, two Summit Awards, the Coca Cola Living Positively Award, a TEDx Speaker and a TEDx MC, the NFF Innovator of the Year Award, a Canadian Screen Academy Nominee, as well as an AMA, PMA, and a Merging Media Award.
Previously, Bradley led production for Chalk Media which pioneered Tech-TV and some of the first Television to Live Streaming Simulcasts in North America. He subsequently acquired ChalkTV under his launch of his own production company Media2o Productions Inc. and then launched M2O, an award-winning digital agency that specialized in Consumer Electronics (CE) for global tech brands including Microsoft, Intel, Cisco, Sony, Canon, Nvidia, Matrox, Samsung, Acer, Apple, Hitachi, HP, Epson, IBM, JVC, Schneider, Hootsuite, SAP, and CA Technologies. Under his leadership, M2O pioneered early digital, mobile, rapid content production, and live-streaming platforms, produced large-scale educational media, launched over 1000 product campaigns reaching over 500m in revenue and helped organizations translate emerging technologies into clear, concise human-centred experiences. His senior production roles included award-winning television, breakthrough web content, as well as interactive projects including co-creating a Mobile Platform later acquired by Research In Motion (BlackBerry).
Bradley has also spent over a decade as an advisor and faculty member at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, helping shape curriculum and prepare students for careers in digital design, development, and user experience, and two decades as a commentator and with syndicated programming on technology trends and futurism for Air Canada, Discovery, MSN.com, MSN.ca, ShawTV, GlobalTV, CTV and CityTV. He continues to find joy teaching and demystifying tech for youth and elders alike.
Not one to sit idly by with better ideas around systems and policy Bradley has also gotten involved in Politics running for the Green Party and helping break through the barricades in what became a supply and confidence arrangement with the Greens and NDP and co-founded the think talk CREDBC. Having trained with Al Gore on climate leadership in Miami he also continues to champion environmental causes and climate leadership.
An Aspiring professional Ally, Bradley is also founding partner of Indigenext, one of Canada’s first Indigenous business accelerators. Since 2016 he has helped incubate or accelerate over 100 Indigenous-led and mission-driven enterprises, supported the launch and growth of multiple social enterprises, and contributed to reshaping national conversations around reconciliation, economic development, and innovation. His work emphasizes alignment between vision, culture, community, and execution.
An internationally recognized innovator and recipient of multiple awards for learning and creative excellence, Bradley is known for bringing enthusiasm, clarity, and strategic judgment to complex situations. His work helps leaders and organizations align people, and pull purpose and action together, creating practical pathways forward while preserving the trust, culture, and relationships that make lasting transformation possible.
